The New Grove Rums are a complete range of quality rums made available by Mauritius. The un-aged white rums bring to the limelight, a quite new style of rum, the Plantation Rum, while the dignified aged rums demonstrate that Mauritius has perfectly mastered the art of distilling, ageing and blending premium rums. In 1852, Dr Pierre Charles François Harel developed the concept of local distillation of rum in Mauritius, using only the finest local ingredients from his vast Pamplemousses Garden Estate to create a liquor of outstanding quality and pure refinement. 150 years later, New Grove Rum still conveys this strong heritage and retains these delicate flavours from the past. Crafted in the middle of the green sugar fields, and produced in limited quantity, this exclusive rum is reserved for the real connoisseurs who can truly appreciate its subtle refinement.
